Starting back in 1977, I started Cal’s Home Improvements. Getting myself through college, this was a perfect part-time job, doing various jobs from electrical, plumbing, drywall, siding repair and siding replacements to of course a a natural born painter. Enjoying being outside, an exterior painting job was always welcomed. As a Handy-man, Jack of all, it seemed like every job completed, included some degree of house painting, which I enjoyed most of all. Having a much smaller operation entailed carrying a wider range of tools for the jobs at hand, and thought by 1980 it would be much easier if we carried one trade of tools. When I decided to do this, I made a commitment to myself and the community that I wanted to be the best this industry has to offer for that particular sector. Always putting the customer first, quickly became our companies philosophy, I developed a company tag line that is still with us today- “Customer Satisfaction is Our Main Concern”. Over the years we have completed 1000’s of exterior painting jobs, along with commercial painting, and treat each one as our very own. We provide a complete estimate with references, associations, licences, and both liability and workers comp. documents for your review. Before we start, we can assist you with any color selections, and we encourgage letting us sample colors, especially when there is a color change. Reason for this is, small "Chips" can look different on a smaller scale, than a larger one, either interior or exterior.
